Hardwood Play Chips
Available in Bulk Bags, 20 x 70 litre bags (1.4 m³), 30 x 70 litre bags (2.1m³) or 40x 70 litre bags (2.8m³) delivered on a pallet as well as 900 litre and 1200 litre bulk bags.
This products is screened from 5-35mm.
These hardwood play chips are a great balance between durability, appearance and economy, they are hard wearing and perfect for busy play areas.
- Tested to BSEN 1177:1998 Safety standards.
- Screened 5-35mm mixed hardwood chip
Woodchip For Play Areas
This woodchip has been tested and certified to BSEN 1177:1998 to ensure it is safe for use as a play area surface. See below for more information on recommended depth of woodchip for play areas.
Suggested depth for laying hardwood play chips:
- For non play area use 50-100mm is suggested (2 to 4 inches)
- Play Area Fall Height depth guide: Laying depth of 300mm for a fall height of over 3.5m, 200mm for a fall height of up to 3.5m and 100mm for fall heights of up to 1.4 metres respectively.

Delivery is made via a curtain sided vehicle with a tail lift offload and is guaranteed to kerbside only. For more information please see our delivery details.

Delivery Information
Our products are delivered on pallets, on curtain sided lorries with a tail lift and pallet trolley and are only guaranteed to the kerbside. Please note items may be delivered in multiple deliveries.

Orders can be delivered next day if placed before 1pm Monday to Friday & next day delivery is selected, we can also deliver on Saturday mornings, Sat Am option must be selected in the checkout.
The order cut off point is 1pm each day Monday to Friday.
Returns
Please read our delivery information carefully. Delivery failure, will result in either a re-delivery or a return / cancellation charge.
